Corsican Villa

One hectare, water at your feet to the North of Ajaccio, a 650 m2 house only half of which was converted, this 1970’s building with traditional materials, such as the granite basements and the roof covered with tiles, has been entirely reorganised. The garden is under way.

The project specifications comprised the creation of as many bedrooms as possible, as this holiday home needed to accommodate over twenty people. Eight bedrooms were created, all different with a particular distinction for the sanitary facilities.  Large terraces enable guests to extend outside the intimacy of their bedroom and provide them with the possibility of talking to their “neighbours” if they wish.

A “dormitory” intended for the younger ones enables them to meet up before going to bed.

A small separate house gives adolescents the opportunity to play together the games they prefer.

The overflow pool creates the feeling that the sea spills into the garden. Its adjoining areas, such as the outdoor dining room and its bar decorated with mosaic matching the pool’s, give guests the opportunity of enjoying meals closer to the water.
