In this 1930’s building, the idea was to remove from the site all unnecessary elements, partitions and doors, in order to give a modern perception to this apartment while respecting the function of each area.

In a greatly smooth flow, black lacquered pieces of furniture with gold leaf gilding punctuate the area without revealing straight away their function of guests’ dressing room or television cabinet behind their ornamental image.

Conviviality and intimate secrets.
